Kristoffer Ewald is an internationally recognized digital strategist with over 20 years of experience in digital with a quantitative data background.
His digital career started while in University with a student job and a stay in Silicon Valley in 1999 and have included working for an advertising, PR and web agency in the happy days of pre 2000 internet, a futures studies consultancy called NxT@CIFS and then led him to the incubation of THNK (now FH210), an innovation consultancy he sold to Saatchi & Saatchi in 2003. He continued launching a series of startups across software and consulting including The Milk, a first mover on analytics consulting focused on behavioral economics in a digital business optimization context, behavioural sciences and data which became one of the original Google Analytics Certified Partners when Google launched it in 2005. He then founded another Google based venture AppsPeople and then continued by successfully scaling the business model of The Milk to the more than 22 international locations of the Netbooster Group (now Artefact.com). As SVP he headed the Data&Analytics unit for 8 years while also participating in the Group Strategic Committee, and from 2016-2018 he acted as the Global CIO, driving innovations across the Group.
In October 2018 he returned to entrepreneurship as a pre-seed investor adding a new venture related to Data Privacy, Behavioral economics and Blockchain to his startup portfolio and have since expanded with a sting of angel investments.
Kris is a frequent international key-note speaker with well over 250 talks on his path he often translates complex digital matters to plain terms.
Kris lives in Zug, Switzerland where he relocated from his native Denmark almost 5 years ago and where he rides his bike in the mountains and dreams of the days when there was still enough free time to compete in Adventure Racing.
